CORFU. He went to the police to report his missing ID card and ΄paid a visit΄ to the chapel on his way out.
A man went to the police headquarters on Wednesday to report that he had lost his ID card. On his way out he paid a vist to the Ag. Artemios police chapel - not to light a candle, but to remove as much money as he could from the collection box.
The police, who had noticed him acting suspiciously, caught and arrested him shortly afterwards. The police have apparently had dealings with the man in the past.
