Clean-up of Vidos Island beaches and paths

Statement from Spyros Neratzis, Municipal Councillor responsible for Vidos Island:
The clean-up of the paths and beaches on Vidos has been completed with the collaboration of the Municipal Voluntary Work Department, volunteers from All Together for Corfu and other Municipal services along with equipment provided by the Municipality.
Having been given the responsibility by the Mayor and the local authority, and having seen and experienced the situation since 2019, I must now commend all the efforts that ensure that the island will not remain in the same condition for the third year running as regards beautification, cleaning up and fire safety.
We would like to thank the following for their contribution to the clean-up:
1. Deputy Mayor Yiannis Seremetis and Kostas Kontis.
2. Municipal officials Vassilis Fotias and Giorgos Zaragas.
3. Municipal employee Yiannis Grammenos.
4. The Municipal employees Kostas Kritikos and Nikos Kosmas, who gave their voluntary help outwith their normal working hours.
5. Special thanks to Vaggelis Vassilakis, municipal employee, and Spyros Mesimeris, self-employed.
