Impressive performance by ΄Mantzaros΄ orchestra at Greek National Opera

ATHENS. ΄Mantzaros΄ Philharmonic Society delighted the audience with its concert at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (Greek National Opera) in Athens.
The Philharmonic Society orchestra had been invited by the Athens Chamber of Commerce for the 'Sustainable, Responsible and Innovative Enterprise' Awards Ceremony.
Conducted by Socrates Anthis, the orchestra performed works by Greek and international composers.
The President of Greece Katerina Sakellaropoulou attended the event.
On behalf of the Philaharmonic Society Board, Ioannis Trivizas said, "With this concert, our Philharmonic Society was a worthy representative of Corfu and promoted the musical tradition of the island at this important event in front of the highest political authority, government members (Ministers of Development & Enterprise, Health, Justice and Finance) and MPs, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and top Greek businesses, performing at one of the top venues in the country.
"We would like to especially thank the President of Athens Chamber of Commerce and newly-elected President of the Union of Hellenic Chambers Yiannis Hatzitheodosiou for the invitation and we are certain that our concert will be the beginning of a long-term cooperation."
