Work is being done to repair the damage to the underground cable from the sub-station in Corfu Town, which led to houses and shops in the area around San Rocco Square and the Municipal Theatre finding themselves without electricity on Tuesday afternoon.
A DEDDIE crew has been in Desylla St., where the main problem is, since yesterday in order to repair the cable. DEDDIE Director Nikos Sofianos told Enimerosi that the work will be completed today or tomorrow.
