CORFU. Corfu, the island of music, mourns his passing and bows down before the ΄big man΄ of Greek music.
Corfu remembers his tours as head of the Lamprakis Democratic Youth. His first post-dictatorship concert in the sports ground - hours of music from evening to night with the folk orchestra which he said was "honoured by its persecution by the junta". He was supported by Spyros Samouilis and his group (Make haste to stop the black fascism. Proletariats of all countries unite!)
It remembers him throughout his impressive musical evolution. The narrations of Petros Pandis from the Havana concert and his embrace with Fidel Castro.

The concert didn't take off until, with great difficulty, he got up on the podium by popular demand and to great applause. He raised his arms and everyone went wild! Petros Pandis regained his voice, the orchestra and choir lifted their performance and our hearts were opened!
