Musical protest in solidarity with Palestinians from Ionian University students

CORFU. University students expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people in a musical protest in Annunziata Square on Wednesday afternoon.
The Student Societies from the IT Department and the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting issued the following statement:
"We condemn the latest barbaric attack by the Israeli repressive forces on Palestinians in the mosque in East Jerusalem.
On top of the enforced occupation of Palestinian territory over the last 70 years, Israel has yet again bombed their land, killing civilians with the support of the USA, NATO, the EU and Greece, which supports the USA allied forces every year with millions of Euros for the killing of people and maintains economic and military relations with Israel .
The images that we have seen over the last few days are shocking. Over 120 adults and children of a people which is fighting for justice and a homeland have been killed! We support the Palestinian people and its youth which is continuing its fight against Israeli occupation.
We condemn the imperialists NATO, USA and EU who support the Israeli state killing machine.
We demand that the military collaboration between the armed forces of Greece and Israel end.
We demand an end to the Israeli occupation and annexation of Palestinian land and the creation of a single Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital and the borders defined in 1967."
