Red Cross to help taking vulnerable groups to vaccination centres

CORFU. Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Mayor Meropi Ydraiou met with members of the Corfu branch of the Red Cross on Tuesday 23 February.
The Municipality will cooperate with Red Cross volunteers to help members of vulnerable groups and senior citizens who don't have any support to get to the Municipality's vaccination centres.
The Municipality will provide cars and drivers and accompanied by the volunteers will take those needing assistance to the centres.
Appointments for the service must be made two days ahead of the vaccination appointments by phoning 26610 28268.
The Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Andreas Skoupouros was also present at the meeting.
