Half the Cabinet coming to Corfu with Kyriakos Mitsotakis

CORFU. A large number of Ministers is coming to Corfu with the Greek PM on Saturday 11 July.
Corfu ND MP Stefanos Gikas announced that the Government team accompanying the PM comprises the following Ministers: Development - Adonis Giorgiades; Environment - Kostis Hadjidakis; Health - Vassilis Kikilias; Culture - Lina Mendoni; Tourism - Haris Theoharis along with the Deputy Minister for Development Nikos Papathanasis and the General Secretary at the Ministry of Environment Manolis Grafakos - and there may be others.
"Members of the Government will be having a number of meetings with local bodies and organisations," said Mr. Gikas, "with a view to getting updates at first-hand about Corfu issues, infrastructure planning and, of course, the economic problems the island is facing due to the pandemic. The Prime Minister's visit to the island on Saturday is of great importance."
Apart from the various business meetings, the highlight of the visit is expected to be the 'launch' of the NCH Erimitis project and beginning of construction work.
