CORFU. There were two days of voluntary blood donation on 14 and 15 June.
A lot of volunteers and voluntary groups took part in the two days of voluntary blood donation for World Blood Donor Day organised by the Corfu branch of the Red Cross under the aegis of the Central Corfu Municipality.
Over 100 bottles of blood were collected to cover the needs of Corfu General Hospital and awareness was again raised regarding the need for blood and how simple and risk-free the process of donating is.
