Lighting of Flame of Love in Corfu

On Wednesday evening, September 27th, at the 21st Volunteer Blood Donors' Torch Relay, participants spread the message of voluntary blood donation and highlighted its importance.

The Flame of Love was lit by the Director of the Blood Donation Department at Corfu General Hospital at 17:00 and, after several stops, it reached the Ionian Academy - Ionian University, where it was handed over to the Dean of the Ionian University, Andreas Floros.

The flame was then taken to Liston, where an altar was lit, and the ceremony was accompanied by a performance by the Lykio Ellinidon.
