Corfu Health Centre safety measures

Corfu Health Centre's announcement for the public:

- The only access to the Health Centre will be by the main entrance so that all members of the public can be checked. If there is an increase in the number of suspect cases, another entrance will be used just for those.

- A kiosk (provided by Corfu Port Authority) was placed outside the main entrance on 17 March where authorised personnel can monitor the cases.

- Two rooms in the Health Centre have been set aside exclusively for suspect cases.

- We have isolated the emergency department from all the other services.

- We have requested from the 6th Regional Health Administration that the Primary Health Committee meetings be discontinued in order to avoid congestion.

- The dentist's surgery has been discontinued (apart from emergency cases).

- Corfu General Hospital medical and nursing staff have been trained in methods of individual protection.

- Necessary appointments can only be made by telephone.

- For regular cases and the EOPYY pharmacy there is a checkpoint at the entrance so that only 2 or 3 people can enter at intervals in order to avoid congestion.

- Guidelines for the public have been posted at the entrance along with the telephone numbers of all the Health Centre doctors and departments.
