Russian Black Sea Fleet band put on concert in Old Town Hall Square

CORFU. The concert in the Old Town Hall Square on Sunday evening was part of the 17th Hellenic-Russian Week.
The Russian Black Sea Fleet Band and Sinies Educational & Cultural Society performed in the concert. The audience responded enthusiastically to the Russian melodies including marches dedicated to those who fell in the 2nd World War and victory against Nazism.
Amongst others the concert was attended by Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipal Council President Dimitris Metallinos, Deputy Regional Governor Kostas Zorbas, Church representatives and members of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
