2nd Corfu Half Marathon sets off

CORFU. The 2nd Half Marathon set off from Liston, where it will also finish.
Along with the Half Marathon there will also be a 5km race (including high school pupils), a 3km race (including junior high school pupils) and a 1km race (including primary school pupils).

The 5km race set off at 09:00 with about 300 runners including 50 from the rest of Greece.
The Half Marathon (21km) set off at 09:15 with about 200 runners.

It should be noted that the events are being supported by a large number of volunteers and rescue teams. Corfu Green Spots are also giving their support and have placed special bins for rubbish, sorting at source.
