ATHENS. The Government is to reduce VAT on crash helmets from 24% to 13%.
A reduction in VAT for crash helmets is to be included in the Government's second tax legislation. The reduction will be from 24% to 13%.
According to APE-MPE, the decision was taken following discussion between the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Government economic committee and his committment given when visiting the Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport to provide tax incentives to encourage the use of crash helmets.
The measure will be included in the Government's second tax legislation.
