Stolen bust of Giorgos Rallis handed back to Municipality

CORFU. The bronze bust of former Prime Minister Giorgos Rallis was handed back to the Municipality on Tuesday morning.
The bust had gone missing from its marble base last week and was later found by police near Kontra Fossa at the Old Fortress.
It was handed over to Deputy Mayor Noni Mastora by Deputy Police Chief Manthos Yiannoulis. Ms Mastora said that the bust will be taken to the Art Gallery before being restored to its marble base in Kofinetta.
