DEYAK (Public Water Supply & Sewerage Company) is replacing water and sewerage pipes in Prosalendou St behind the old Courthouse in the Old Town. The work is funded by DEYAK with a budget of 76,052 Euros and comes following requests and demands from local residents and businesspeople. Due to its location the work will be monitored by an archaeologist.
The DEYAK President said that grease traps need to be used in order to avoid continuous blockages of the sewerage pipes and strong stenches.
