CORFU. Car went off the road and fell 150 metres.
A 40-year-old man died in a road accident in Petalia. The car left the road, for reasons still unknown, and fell 150 metres. According to police sources, a shepherd spotted the car by chance on the side of the hill and called the police. Three fire engines rushed to the scene to help free the trapped driver along with an ambulance and the police. Unfortunately, the man was dead when they pulled him out of the car.
It has not yet been determined if it was an accident or suicide and the medical examiner has been called to the scene.
