CORFU. The first episode of The Durrells is being broadcast on Greek TV on Saturday 2 March.
The record-breaking ITV series which was filmed in Corfu is based on British writer Gerald Durrell's 'Corfu Trilogy'.
The series begins in 1935 with widow Louisa Durrell and her four children experiencing financial problems. She decides to move with her children Gerry, Larry, Margo and Leslie to the sunny Greek island of Corfu.
