Wonderful evening of carol-singing in Town Hall Square

CORFU. A delightful evening worthy of the "island of music".
Philharmonic Bands and choirs put on an evening of Christmas carols in the Town Hall Square on Christmas Eve. There were lots of children in the square as Christmas carols and other festive songs were played and sung in front of the Old Town Hall.
The following choirs took part: Dimodokos, Anemomylos, San Giacomo, Corfu Choir, Epirus Association Choir, Corfu Serenades & Mandolins along with the 'Old', Capodistrias, Mantzaros (with its choir) and Avliotes Philharmonic Bands.
Attending the event were the Corfu Mayor Kostas Nikolouzo, Town Council President Maria Mouzakiti, Deputy Mayors Giorgos Pantelis, Noni Mastora, Stamatis Apergis, Nikos Korakianitis, town councillors from the Kerkyraion Dimos party Nikos Kalogeros and Dimitris Metallinos, leader of the Kerkyra Na Zis party Yiannis Trepeklis and many others.
