International Day of Yoga at the Old Palace

CORFU. The Museum of Asian Art will be hosting an event for the International Day of Yoga on Thursday 21st June.
Thursday 21st June - 19:30
Inner Colonnade, Old Palace
There will be two parts to the event:
1. Traditional Kirtan Indian music - Satyanandashram Hellas Yoga Centre
Elena Soueref - soprano
Orestis Zafeiropoulos - cello, vocals
Spyros Tzekos - clarinet
Yiannis Barzoukas - guitar, vocals
Thanasis Gogas - congas
Tasos Pangratis - timbale
Musical event: Sophie Andree-Satmashanti, following the proposal of her student Nikos Barloyiannis, they will converse musically with chromatic sound vibrations using rare antique Tibetan Singing Bowls, Tingshas, Bells& Chimes.
2. 'Creation' - Premiere! - Atropos Research Theatre
Theatrical performance based on the myths of ancient civilizations, such as Mahabharata & Kathaupanishad - India, Ancient Greece, Zoroastrianism, Sumerian and African myths.
Live music with traditional instruments - Sergei Sozin, musician from St. Petersburg
Cello - Orestis Zafeiropoulos
Dramaturgy - Sergei Sozin
Narration - Vassilis Kritikos
Tibetan Singing Bowls - Sophie Andree, International Sound Healing Master & Vibrational Alternative & Naad Yogi Master
Lighting - Kostas Vlachos
Director/Actor - Stamatis Efstathiou (Artistic Director at Atropos Research Theatre)
