CORFU. The 12th Panhellenic Symposium of Oceanography & Fisheries will be held at the Ionian University, Corfu, from Thursday 31st May till Sunday 3rd June. The official opening ceremony of the Symposium will take place on Wednesday 30th May.
The 12th Symposium of Oceanography and Fisheries, is being co-organized by the Panhellenic Union of HCMR Employees and the Union of HCMR Researchers, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science of the Ionian University and under the auspices of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, the Municipality of Corfu and the Ionian Islands Region.
Amongst the topics covered in the symposium are physical and chemical oceanography, marine biodiversity and ecological function and the implementation of European marine policies.
