ASTA American travel agents visit Achilleion Palace and Palaiokastritsa

CORFU. The American tourism professionals visited Corfu΄s landmark Palace.
The American travel agents came to Corfu following the ASTA conference in Athens. On the first day of their visit they saw Mouse Island and Vlacherna during the day and had dinner at the Tripa restaurant - known for its illustrious clients.
Their visit to Corfu wouldn't be complete without a visit to the 'fairy tale palace of the sad Empress Sissy' - Achilleion, which they visited on Thursday morning.
They then boarded their mini-bus to be taken to the next popular Corfu destination - Palaiokastritsa. However, the road to the Palaiokastritsa Monastery is inaccessible to buses due to the serious subsidence and so the visitors made do with walks and photography on the beach.
