Internationally recognized chefs drawn to Corfu

CORFU. Important international personalities will be collaborating in the Corfu Food & Wine Festival.
One after the other, distinguished creative personalities from the international world of gastronomy are accepting invitations to participate in the Corfu Food & Wine Festival. According to the organizers, famous chefs will be taking part in events and thus giving prestige to the Festival.
The great Russian chef, Rashid Rakhmanov, will be coming to introduce the public to the cuisines of the Urals and Scandinavia as well as the latest gastronomical 'fashion' that has been sweeping Europe - the Nikkei Peruvian-Japanese cuisine!
Rashid comes from Perm, a city in the Urals with one million inhabitants, and trained at the school of the legendary Peruvian chef, Gaston Acurio in Madrid. He is now a Concept Chef at the Gastroport restaurant complex and the Metis gastronomy bar in Perm.
The Russian chef will take part in the Chefs' Summit on Thursday May 10th in Corfu and will prepare dishes from the three aforementioned cuisines for the public at restaurants that are participating in the Festival.
It will be a unique opportunity for those who can make reservations at the restaurants where Chef Rashid Rakhmanov will be invited to cook.
