Greek Mirage pilot dies in crash off the island of Skyros

Greek Defence Minister, Panos Kammenos, announced the death of the pilot.
The pilot lost his life when the Mirage 2000-5 fell in the sea off the north-east coast of the island of Skyros. Defence Minister, Panos Kammenos, made the announcement.
Mr. Kammenos wrote: "A Greek pilot has entered the Pantheon of Heroes. He fell for his nation in the defence of our country's territorial integrity. The nation mourns and bows down before him. Our sincere condolences to his family and to the Air Force."
