Work accident: 34-year-old injured man sweats it out for 1 hour at work.

CORFU. At 10.40 this morning, a wall gave way and trapped the leg of a 34-year-old Albanian building worker in Evropoulous.
The Fire Service was called immediately and 2 vehicles and 5 men arrived on the scene shortly. They managed to free the worker at 11.45, using high-pressure cushions.
According to the Fire Department, the building worker was working at a 50cm ditch – on the one side there was a lot of rubble and on the other a house. Due to the weight of the rubble, the wall gave way and fell on the worker’s leg.
The worker, who wasn’t seriously injured, was taken to Corfu General Hospital.
