“The School of Joy”: Young Corfu and Alimos pupils collaborate in heartwarming project
CORFU. A joint initiative by Corfu 14th Experimental Kindergarten and Alimos 11th Experimental Kindergarten for the National Day Against School Bullying.
On the occasion the Panhellenic Day Against School Violence and Bullying on March 6th, the pupils of Corfu 14th Experimental Kindergarten joined their ideas, imagination, and feelings with the children of Alimos 11th Experimental Kindergarten in Athens. Through this wonderful collaboration, a special shared story was created, titled “The School of Joy.”
The children sent a strong and clear message: the school environment becomes more beautiful when it is filled with love, respect, friendship, and acceptance. The activity highlighted the value of cooperation as the most important “tool” against every form of violence.
The joint initiative concluded with the design and creation of a collaborative board game, based on the story the children themselves created. Through the process of the game, the young pupils had the opportunity to:

strengthen their sense of teamwork and mutual support

practice collaborative decision-making
This heartwarming partnership between the two kindergartens reminds us that cultivating respect and solidarity begins from the very first steps of school life, laying the foundations for a future full of smiles.
