Zisimos opening at Easter
CORFU. Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets, will be managing the historic cafe.
With the completion of the auction in the afternoon of Thursday, February 19, the next chapter was sealed for one of the most historic landmarks of our town. The only bid submitted came from the well-known Corfiot company Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets, which will now take over operation of the cafe.
The company’s representative, Kostas Lazaris, told Enimerosi that the premises will operate as a food and beverage establishment, offering coffee, food, and drinks, and will open (if all goes well) at Easter.
The new management has explicitly committed to preserving the identity of the space. The historically significant décor will remain intact and protected, and the cafe will continue to bear the iconic name “Ta Olympia – Zisimos.”
The monthly rent for the property was set at €8,110.
