Lockdown extended to 18 January
ATHENS. Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias announced that the lockdown is being extended until 18 January.
Dassia property: Regional Council votes in favour of receiving financial rather than land concession
CORFU. The demand for a land concession from the investing company in Dassia (as opposed to financial) was rejected. Leader of the LASY party Babis Haralambous proposed that land be given. A representative of the investing company Stavros Andreadis was present at the meeting.
Natura Areas Protection Association in favour of concession of land in Dassia rather than money
CORFU. "Let΄s not destroy what has remained of the island΄s long-suffering environment in the name of temporary and doubtful profits!" the Association says in its statement regarding the Ikos investment in the former Club Med land.
