ATHENS. The measures come into force on Friday 13 November.
Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias today announced new nationwide measures restricting movement. He said that between 21:00 and 05:00 movement will be restricted with just a few exceptions.
Movement will only be allowed for exceptional cases - work, health and a short walk with pets close to home.
The respective SMS and work certificates apply. The measure will come into force on Friday 13 November.
Individual exercise
This applies only only to individuals - up to 3 people - and not training at sports clubs. Hunting and fishing are not allowed.
Teleworking
From Friday 13 November every public and private organisation and company will be obliged to have available at all times a report outlining how it is operating with completely essential staff and listing personnel that are teleworking. Checks on implementation of teleworking have already begun and will continue.
Mr Hardalias said, "We also encourage and recommend TV channels to adapt and reduce the number of presenters and guests in the studios to what is absolutely necessary."
