Lockdown extended to 18 January

Announcements regarding the lockdown will be made every week and for areas that are harder hit and require special restrictive measures announcements will be made by the Civil Protection General Secretary.

Nursery schools, primary schools and special education schools as well as childcare centres reopen on Monday 11th.

Retail shops, hair and nail salons and bookshops remain closed and hunting and fishing remain prohibited.

The measures for churches remain the same - services without attendees and up to 9 attendees from immediate family for funerals.

Companies will continue to work with as many as possible of the staff teleworking and in special cases members of the public can be served by appointment.

Courts will continue to operate in a very limited way with a maximum of 15 people in the courtrooms with a distance of at least 1.5 metres between them.

There will be mandatory 7-day isolation for international arrivals in Greece. All arrivals must show a negative Covid-19 test result from no more than 72 hours prior to arrival and have filled in a PLF form.
