Nikos Hardalias: Restrictive measures extended for 2 weeks

ATHENS. Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias announced that the measures in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus will be extended for another 2 weeks.
The following will be extended:
- Social distancing
- Mandatory use of masks in all enclosed areas apart from catering establishments and public gyms and for medical reasons.
- Beach measures
- Measures for places of worship
- Prohibition of traditional fairs and open-air events as well as events with people standing.
- Prohibition of visits to hospitals and care homes
- Social distancing at Reception and Identification Facilities (‘hotspots’)
- Sample testing of international arrivals extended to 15 September
- Measures in place at land entry points
Mr. Hardalias also announced that the requirement for negative PCR tests for arrivals from the Netherlands has been temporarily lifted. Flights from Barcelona and Catalonia have been temporarily suspended.
He also announced restrictive measures in Lesvos, Imathis and Zakynthos.
