Another seamen’s strike on the horizon
CORFU. The Federation of Greek Seamen (PNO) has decided to participate in the strike called by the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) on Thursday, 14 December. The Corfu Seamen’s Union have yet to decide whether they will also join the strike.

French Ambassador to Greece visits Corfu

Corfu will be cut off in the winter without ‘closed type’ ferry boats!
Following the prohibition of the open ferry boat services due to the strong winds, the union of ferry boat crew members once again declared their opposition to the non-operation of ‘closed type’ ferry boats for 5 months in the winter. This is what they had to say:
