CORFU. Electricity has been cut off in the area until the damage has been repaired.
Fire broke out on an electricity pole in Mantzarou Street in Corfu Town on Tuesday morning, December 31, at approximately 10:00. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, along with a team from DEDDIE.
The fire caused wires to melt, resulting in material damage to a nearby parked vehicle.
Power in the area has been cut off to repair the damage.
