Two arrested for metal theft

CORFU. The arrested individuals were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
(Ionian Islands Regional Police) Two individuals (a 27-year-old man and a minor) were arrested on Monday 9 December by officers from the Achilleion Police Department. They are accused of theft and charges have been filed against them.
The two Greeks were identified by police officers following a complaint. According to the report, on Sunday afternoon, 8 December, they stole metal objects worth a total of €150 from the yard of a rental property in Benitses.
The stolen metal objects were found in their possession and returned to their rightful owner. Additionally, the car they used to commit the illegal act was seized.
The Achilleion Police Department conducted the preliminary investigation into the case.
The detainees were brought before the Corfu Prosecutor.
