Some problems at Corfu Airport due to weather conditions

CORFU. A flight from Frankfurt had to land in Preveza, and a flight from the Czech Republic had to land in Athens.
There were minor issues at Corfu Airport on Monday morning, August 19th, caused by the weather conditions, with two international flights being unable to land. The first was from Frankfurt, which temporarily diverted to Preveza Airport and returned to Corfu a short while ago (10:22). The second flight, from the Czech Republic, landed in Athens and is expected to land in Corfu in about an hour.
According to Dimitris Roussos, President of the Corfu Civil Aviation Authority Employees Union, the rest of the flights operated normally.
