CORFU. He was sought by the Coast Guard after an 18-year-old was injured while using an inflatable cushion.
Corfu Port Authority arrested the 39-year-old owner of a water sports business in Ipsos on Sunday evening, 30 June.
The man had been sought by the Coast Guard since the previous day, following the injury of an 18-year-old while using an inflatable cushion, owned by him. The 18-year-old was taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital, where he remains hospitalised.
Corfu Central Port Authority, which is conducting the preliminary investigation, initiated the process of imposing administrative penalties.
