Man arrested in South Corfu for possession of drugs and weapon

CORFU. Quantities of cocaine, raw cannabis, MDMA pills, a pistol, and cartridges were seized by police.
A 25-year-old man was arrested yesterday in South Corfu by Drugs Squad officers.
He was located by the police and arrested when drugs were found in his possession and during a search conducted in a rented room where he was staying in South Corfu.
The following items were found in his possession and seized:
- 36 grams of cocaine,
- 86 MDMA pills and 7 pill segments of the same drug,
- 5.3 grams of raw cannabis,
- An electronic precision scale,
- A 9mm pistol with two magazines,
- 29 cartridges for the 9mm pistol
- Two mobile phones.
A case was filed against him for felony drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons.
The arrested individual was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
