Three arrested at Corfu and Zakynthos airports with fake travel documents

CORFU. The three men tried to board flights with fake passports.

Three men were arrested on Tuesday, May 14th, at Corfu and Zakynthos airports, attempting to board international flights using fake passports.

At Corfu Airport in the mornings, a foreign national was detected by police officers from the Airport Police attempting to illegally board a flight to Germany using a fake passport.

At Zakynthos Airport in the afternoon, two foreign nationals were arrested by officers as they attempted to illegally board a flight to Belgium using fake passports.

The detainees were taken to appear before the respective Prosecutors.
