Man, 31, arrested for drug trafficking

CORFU. The arrested man was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
A 31-year-old man was arrested for drug trafficking on Thursday morning, 22 February, in a suburb of Corfu Town.
The man was arrested at his residence by Drugs Squad officers following up on information received.
The following were found in his possession:
- 233g of cocaine,
- 206g of white powder suitable for mixing and diluting the narcotic substance,
- 1,800 Euros in cash
- 1 precision electronic scale.
An investigation into the case was carried out by the Drugs Squad and he was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
