Man, 25, arrested for theft of cash and jewellery in North Corfu

A 25-year-old man was arrested for theft on Thursday afternoon, 30/11.

He was located and apprehended following a police search, as their investigation revealed that in the early hours of Wednesday, 29/11, together with at least three more accomplices who are currently being sought, they broke into a residence in North Corfu through a window. They stole the sum of 4,000 Euros, jewellery worth 1,000 Euros, and a digital data storage device.

Police also seized the vehicle used by the perpetrators.

A case file was brought against him, and he was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
