CORFU. Those responsible to be held to account for the Tempe tragedy - Collective bargaining agreements for all those employed in mass media.
Journalists are supporting the nationwide 24-hour GSEE strike on Thursday 16 March.
Journalists will be on strike on the previous day, Wednesday 15 March, and there will be no newspapers on the day of the national strike.
The Panhellenic Federation and Journalists Association issued a joint statement:
Journalists throughout the country are joining with the Greek public and unions. All of the journalists' associations will be holding a 24-hour strike from 05:00 on Wednesday 15 March to 05:00 on Thursday 16 March, in support of the nationwide demand that those responsible to be held to account for the Tempe tragedy and that measures be taken so that nothing like this can ever happen again.
