Motor vehicle workshop owners protest over digital customer database

CORFU. Strike on Tuesday 1 July.
A series of protests by motor vehicle workshop owners will begin in various regions of Greece on Tuesday, July 1st, in response to the implementation of the digital customer database. The new regulation requires the detailed recording of every vehicle that enters the garage, regardless of the type of work being done.
In Corfu, the owners gathered outside the former Prefecture, requesting an extension of the deadline for implementing online invoicing. The protest then moved to the Regional Authority.
The strike includes all professionals in the sector: car repair shops, body shops, companies that install alarms and sound systems in vehicles, car washes, parking facilities, and car and motorcycle rental businesses.
