CORFU. 26 arrests were made.
Between 18:00 on 10 February and 02:00 on 11 February police in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada carried out checks for the following:
500 vehicles and 609 individuals were checked, leading to 26 arrests - 2 in Corfu, 12 in Cephalonia, 10 in Zakynthos and 2 in Lefkada - for the following offences:
- 3 for theft
- 1 for illegal possession of weapons (Zakynthos)
- 2 with arrest warrants outstanding
- 10 for driving without a licence
- 1 for insubordination
- 4 for illegal residency
- 2 for noise pollution
- 2 catering establishments for lack of proper health certificates
- 1 for negligence of supervision of a minor
There were 202 driving offences, including the following:
- 2 driving under the influence
29 vehicles were immobilised for driving under the influence, without a licence, without crash helmets and being without MOT.
There were also 9 offences in Corfu of smoking in no smoking areas.
- Theft and burglary
- Dangerous driving
- Violations of regulations at catering establishments
- Drug dealing

- 3 with uninsured vehicle
- 15 without MOT
There were also 9 offences in Corfu of smoking in no smoking areas.
