CORFU. They broke into a taverna and stole drinks worth €300.
A man and a woman were arrested early on Sunday morning, 17 July, for theft.
They were found and arrested in Kavos following a police investigation which found evidence showing that they had broken into a taverna in the centre of Corfu early on Saturday morning, 16 July, and stolen drinks worth €300.
Some of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.
The two were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
