Man arrested in North Corfu for heroin trafficking

CORFU. The arrested man was found with 200g heroin in his possession.
A man was arrested early on Wednesday morning, 9 March, for drug trafficking.
Following up on information received, Drugs Squad officers found and arrested him with 3.5g heroin in his possession plus €1,050 and a mobile device. His home and a piece of land in North Corfu were then searched and a hidden package with 195g heroin was found along with precision scales.
He was questioned by the Drugs Squad and then taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
