Bicycle police catch jewellery shop thieves immediately

CORFU. The thieves had stolen jewellery worth €15,000.
Two foreign nationals, a man and a woman, were arrested for theft by bicycle police on Wednesday 27 October.
The thieves went into a jewellery shop in Corfu Town on Wednesday morning, pretending to be customers, and stole jewellery worth €15,000.
The shop owner called the police, who examined the evidence and, following a search, were able to quickly find the thieves.
All the jewellery was found in their possession and it was returned to the shop owner.
The two foreign nationals will be taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
