North Corfu Municipality lodges complaint that NCH obstructed Erimitis inspection

CORFU. North Corfu Municipality has reported the investment company for abuse of rights and contempt towards the responsible services.
According to a statement from North Corfu Municipality, NCH personnel prohibited the Regional Environmental Inspection Team from entering and carrying out an inspection to determine whether there have been any violations in the Vromolimni area.
The Municipality says that it was invited by the Ionian Islands Regional Administration to bring an engineer and take part in the inspection by the Regional Environmental Inspection Team.
On the specific day, Tuesday 9 March, the Deputy Mayor for Works, Development & Investments in North Corfu Hariton Koutsouris and a Municipal engineer went to the meeting point to take part in the inspection along with the Regional team.
To everyone's astonishment, however, the investment company forbade the North Corfu Municipal representatives from entering - in violation of the invitation they had received.
North Corfu Municipality reported the investment company for abuse of rights and contempt towards the responsible services in matters that are strictly the responsibility of local authorities.
The Municipality said that with their practices they are contemptuously scorning the responsible services and local authority (they still haven't received necessary permissions) demonstrating yet again their 'colonial' attitude.
The invitation to attend the inspection was attached to the complaint (see below).
