CORFU. Some of the money was recovered and returned to the victim.
Two women and a man were arrested yesterday (6/1) afternoon and charged with theft.
Shortly before the arrest the two women entered the elderly woman's home and stole money that she had with her and then got away in a pickup truck driven by the man.
The three were questioned by the police and some of the money was found in their possession and returned to the victim. The pickup truck was also seized.
The two women and the man were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
