Another Corfu business fined €5,000 and closed for two weeks

CORFU. For the second day in a row an owner of a retail business was arrested in Corfu - A total of 20 fines were issued in Corfu and another 18 in the other Ionian Islands on Thursday 3 December.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Thursday 3 December the owner of a retail business was arrested in Corfu. He was fined €5,000 and the business closed for two weeks.
On the same day fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 6 people in Zakynthos, 4 in Corfu, 1 in Lefkada and 1 in Cephalonia.
€300 fines were also issued for movement violations as follows: 15 in Corfu, 5 in Cephalonia, 4 in Zakynthos and 1 in Lefkada.
There was also 1 violation in Corfu regarding the number of people allowed in cars with a fine of €150 being imposed.
