Corfu business fined €5,000 and closed for two weeks

CORFU. A total of 32 fines were issued in Corfu and another 15 in the other Ionian Islands on Wednesday 2 December.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Wednesday 2 December the owner of a retail business was arrested in Corfu. He was fined €5,000 and the business closed for two weeks.
On the same day fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 12 people in Corfu, 5 in Lefkada and 4 in Cephalonia.
€300 fines were also issued for movement violations as follows: 19 in Corfu, 3 in Zakynthos and 3 in Cephalonia.
